GHKKPM Written Update 28 Sep 2024: Family Reunion Takes Center Stage as Conflicts Resurface
The Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin episode aired on 28th September 2024 was an emotional rollercoaster, filled with long-awaited reunions, rising tensions, and underlying family conflicts. The Thakkar family eagerly awaits the return of Tara and Nia, who had been away. As the doorbell rings, Bhagyashree rushes to open the door, and emotions run high as she is greeted by the sight of Tara and Nia, accompanied by Jigar. The family warmly welcomes them back, and there is a heartfelt moment as Tara meets the family, unable to hold back her tears.
Sai also takes the opportunity to engage with Jigar, while Rajat, filled with concern, scolds Tara for not informing him when she was in trouble. The tension dissolves briefly when Rajat hugs her, and Tara breaks down, apologizing for her mistakes. In a touching moment, Tara expresses her gratitude to Savi, who had helped her during her difficult time. Bhagyashree, overcome with joy, declares that the arrival of her daughter and granddaughter marks the beginning of Navratri celebrations, and she asks Tara to perform the traditional ghat sthapana (the installation of the holy pot).
However, the family’s joy is short-lived. Rajendra, in a surprising twist, suggests that Savi should perform the ghat sthapana as she had done so much for the family. This does not sit well with Bhagyashree, who expresses her frustration that her daughter and granddaughter had to stay in a hotel because of Savi. Despite the tension, Tara insists that Savi should perform the ritual as a gesture of appreciation for everything she had done for them. Savi ultimately performs the ghat sthapana, setting the tone for a Navratri filled with mixed emotions.
As the rituals continue, Bhagyashree announces her plans to perform garbha this Navratri, intending to pray for her daughter’s well-being. Meanwhile, Rajat heads toward a Navratri event with Aman in his car. Aman suggests that Rajat should have taken Savi and Sai along, but Rajat declines, explaining that the client organizing the event is also Arsh’s client. He adds that Kiyaan would be there, and since Kiyaan despises Savi, he doesn’t want to create unnecessary drama at the event.
Savi, unaware of this, is also on her way to the same event with Sai, Tara, and Jigar. They had received an invitation from Mrunmayee, whose employee is organizing the event. Sai innocently asks if they can take her father along, as she wants to dance with him. Jigar, with a hint of humor, responds that her father is a busy businessman who doesn’t have time for such activities.
Meanwhile, at the event, Ashika and Arsh arrive, and Ashika is reminded of a time when Rajat used to eagerly wait for a whole year to dance with her at such events. She mentions this to Arsh, convinced that Rajat still harbors those feelings. However, in a surprising twist, Rajat walks past her without a word and heads straight to meet Kiyaan. Ashika, feeling slighted, tries to stop him, but Arsh advises her to wait and watch.
Kiyaan, upon seeing Rajat, immediately shows his displeasure. He questions why Rajat is there to spoil his happiness and asks if he came with his new wife. Rajat, trying to maintain peace, tells Kiyaan that he knows how much he hates his stepmother and that he didn’t bring her along. Rajat emphasizes that his children are his priority. Despite this, Kiyaan walks away, hurling insults at him, leaving Rajat feeling hurt and dejected.
In a lighthearted moment, Sai blindfolds Rajat and playfully asks him to guess who she is. Rajat, recognizing her voice, immediately responds, identifying her as his little daughter. Surprised to see her at the event, he asks how she got there. Sai explains that Pari Mamma (Tara) brought her along. At this point, Savi joins them, but Rajat, in his usual manner, hurls verbal insults at her. Savi, caught off guard, clarifies that she didn’t know he would be there and that she only came to support Mrunmayee, who was organizing her first event.
Elsewhere, Kiyaan meets Arsh and Ashika, and Ashika inquires about Rajat’s remarks. Kiyaan relays that Rajat came alone and told him that his children were his only priority, dismissing his second wife. Arsh, pointing towards Savi, reveals that she is Rajat’s second wife, and that Rajat had, in fact, come with both her and his daughter. This revelation leaves Ashika furious, and she reflects on Rajat’s behavior, feeling that he is now attempting to hurt Kiyaan emotionally.
In another corner of the event, Kiyaan’s rude behavior towards an elderly server becomes a focal point. When an old man tries to serve another boy before him, Kiyaan throws money at the server, rudely demanding to be served first. The old man rebukes Kiyaan, questioning his manners. Savi, witnessing this, confronts Kiyaan, asking him to respect his elders. However, Kiyaan responds harshly, warning her to stay away from him as she is not his mother. He storms off but slips and falls moments later. Savi rushes to help him, but Kiyaan once again lashes out at her and walks away.
Later, Tara, seeing Kiyaan’s condition, offers to take him for a blessing from the gods. However, Ashika intervenes, telling Tara to stay away from her son, insisting that she and Arsh will take care of him. This interaction triggers an argument between Tara and Ashika. Savi tries to mediate and requests Ashika to let Tara spend time with Kiyaan. However, Ashika angrily reminds her that the court has restricted the Thakkar family from meeting Kiyaan, further escalating the conflict between Tara and Ashika.
As the episode ends, the family’s conflicts remain unresolved, with tensions continuing to rise between the characters. The strained relationships between Rajat, Kiyaan, Ashika, and Savi have left viewers on the edge, wondering how these family dynamics will unfold in the upcoming episodes.
